Indexing backlinks can sometimes be a struggle, and due to constant Google updates, what is working today might not work tomorrow and, same goes for the results of this test I did!
But, the good thing is that from time to time, I will update this blog post with new tests, probably once per month. 🙂
As first “episode” of this indexing ratio tests (using indexing tools or manual methods), I run 3 simultaneous tests using three different indexers, to see which one is most effective. But before seeing the results, let’s give a look at how the test was prepared!
The setup
- I created 3 batches of links
- All the links, no matter the batch, were the same: They were all created on the same day, on the same web2.0 platforms, and using the same content structure (Article Forge spinned articles) and embedded videos. This was done in order to avoid any third party aspect influencingg index rate, other than the indexer used!
- Each of the 3 batches, included 100 non indexed links prior to be sent to indexers. Some may argue that the sample is not enough to give valid results, but all the links were really of the same quallity. So is definetely enough to get an understanding of the effectiveness of the indexers used.
- I used 3 different indexers, one for each batch of links. On the first one I used a public one, which the site owner, after contacting him, claimed to have “a good ratio” despite being free. The second one, I used a paid one. For the third one, I used a paid one as well. Prior subscribing, their support claimed that they were currently having a 40-60% indexing ratio for good quality links.
